A genuine up-cycled antique bottle. This bottle is also quite heavy in weight. Unique and one of a kind.

This up-cycled antique bottle has been lovingly created using real foliage embedded into the wax, before removing and then enhanced with oil paints. The natural foliage adds such wonderful texture to this bottle which you can feel straight away once held. I have added a lovely piece of hessian around the top of the vase, adding yet more texture.

The whole process requires adding wax paint, heat and more layers of wax, adding the foliage, burnishing, lifting out, mark making, heat, rubbing oil paints to the overall bottle, then selecting oil colours to finish. It's all in the feel with this lovely bottle, it is very tactile with it's rugged texture as well as the look.
