'Botanical & Mixed Media Blends'

My work is a celebration of nature's fleeting beauty, crafted on an ever-changing canvas.
I invite conversations with bees wax and fire, alongside botanical printmaking.

I create mini landscape & floral paintings and tactile bud vases with wax, exploring the relationship between memory, place, and the natural world. Inspired by the Forest of Dean and the subtle shifts of colour throughout the seasons, my work reflects the changing light and quiet transformation found in nature. The shifting colour temperatures and atmosphere, shape the way I build up layers of wax, translating these quiet transformations into tactile objects that feel both intimate and enduring.

Each bud vase and painting becomes a personal keepsake, that holds a moment in time, inviting reflection and connection. A sense of calm and timelessness into the home.

Wax is associated with a 16th Wedding Anniversary, so sealing an anniversary poem, a love or motivational quote in wax, allows me to become personally and emotionally involved. These mementos, are captured, sealed, and only revealed when there is a desire to do so.

My paintings are a mix of varying styles, incorporating mixed media, putty & sand, botanical mono-printing, ephemera and recycled tea bags. My style brings organic texture as I add many layers of wax, create marks and sometimes, botanical elements. Creating art that feels ethereal with timeless elegance.
