Welcome To My Creative World: Working On A Forever Changing Canvas.

Being surrounded by a wealth of colour in the Forest of Dean, with its forever changing seasons, my inspiration evolves from its natural flora and scenic beauty.

Creating with recycled tea bags, mixed media, cyanotypes, eco dyed papers for scrapbooking and delving into the wonderful world of encaustic wax. My canvas is forever changing and expressed by referring to the 4 elements of art; Earth, Water, Air & Fire.

Tea Bag, Mixed Media and Encaustic Wax Art:

I love working with my little tea bag treasures, transforming their canvas with watercolour and acrylic, with each painting dictated by the tea flavours themselves. Incorporating them into mixed media and encaustic wax art, exposes a very mystical appearance with beautiful textures. Whether its a photograph covered in wax, a cyanotype or eco dyed print, a landscape that's painted in coloured wax, or just covering a tea bag in wax.

These beautiful, cyan blue, botanical artworks are a pleasure to create. Based on an alternative photography process using flowers and foliage from my garden or my woodland walks. Our natural world is captured instantly with the aid of the sun to produce these one of a kind creations. These beautiful designs are available on yoga leggings, sports bras and mobile phone cases, found in my Etsy Store.

My cyanotypes sell at one of our local tourist attractions in Taurus Crafts, Lydney if you are ever visiting the area Click here..... There are many independant shops on site, providing you with some wonderful gift options.
