Botanical & Mixed Media Blends

Being surrounded by a wealth of colour in the Forest of Dean, it’s no wonder I work on a forever changing canvas, just like the seasons themselves. My inspiration evolves from its natural flora and scenic beauty.

Considering the 4 elements of art: Earth, Water, Air & Fire, this exceptional video was created by a very talented young man, Brad Morgan. Here, I want you to feel how I see nature and art; as one.

MY WORK

Botanical Cyanotypes & Workshops:

Creating with an alternative photography process, using flowers and foliage from my garden or from my woodland walks. Capturing natures beauty instantly with the aid of the sun. My designs are available in many forms: wall art, jewellery, swimwear, leggings, bags and more through my Etsy store - CLICK HERE ........

Want to learn this beautiful process?

There are a couple of spaces left for Sunday 18th August & Sunday 22nd September - 11am-2pm in Blakeney Village Hall. Email if interested. Or why not buy a Cyanotype Kit for yourself and start creating. This also makes a perfect gift for someone special.

Mixed Media & Encaustic Wax Art:

My first ever inspiring canvas was a recycled tea bag and using various ephemera and paints I create an array of cradle board wonders, which I enhance further with Encaustic Wax. My little tea bag treasures make a 'hidden' appearance, so keep your eyes peeled to spot them. I am also creating little wax bud vases from recycled antique bottles.

Eco Dyed Papers:
