'Ice Queen'

Another favourite 'one of a kind' Cyanotype - The Ice Queen, created with natural flowers and foliage I had for my birthday. The perfect way to capture them forever!

What you are purchasing is an A4 size print of this original, unframed. This design is also available as an Iphone case in my Etsy store. When presenting on market stalls it is also available on cushions, mugs, cards and more.

The main flower is one of my favourites too, the Gerbera, with some small daisies to the left and right. You can see the beautiful detail as the cyanotype liquid has captured the fine details of the centre of the flower and petals with some additional texture. The yellow/gold colouring is from adding turmeric.

There are some beautiful blue tones in this picture too, which I find really interesting. The details here can never be repeated.
