Let me tell you my story.......
In 2018 I became ill with hyperthyroid and found myself searching for some therapy to help calm things down through the bad days. I found myself changing my diet and drinking habits. I changed to drinking tea, and it was at this point everything changed. I left a herbal tea bag on the boiler one evening. The following morning I noticed the beautiful colours and stain marks left on its canvas. I rushed for my paints and I've never looked back..
Over the past 28 years I have embarked on various courses, including floristry, patchwork & quilting, garden design and in 2025 I went on an art retreat to Portland to enhance my Encaustic Wax learning after taking up this amazing medium.
