A beautiful mini landscape scene on a glass bottle that depicts my forest surroundings with the beautiful textures I am privy to most days. All details have been hand crafted using coloured wax, oil paints and mark making techniques. A very rich oil colour brings out the details of the foliage.
This bottle is neatly finished off with a lovely 'tree of life' charm around the bottle neck. More coloured wax compliments the base of the vase to depict the forest floor.
It's unique, and a one of a kind that cannot be repeated.

About the process:
Layers, layers, layers! Coloured wax, paint, heat and more layers of wax, burnishing, lifting out, mark making, more heat and oil paints. Oils are also used into the crevices of all those delicious marks. A lovely and lengthy process that I hope you appreciate. It's all in the feel with all these lovely vases, they are so tactile with some having a rugged or smooth texture. Each little treasured bud vase has its own unique personality.
The last photo shows an example of another vase accompanied with full care instructions and a gift bag.
The diameter of the base is 2 inches with the flower neck opening being 1.25 of an inch. The vase is 4 inches tall.
