This has been lovingly created using carving techniques, wax and oil paints. The natural cord adds to the rugged texture, alongside a 'Leaf' charm around the bottle neck. All inspired by my surroundings.

The whole process requires wax paint, heat, more layers of wax, burnishing, lifting out, mark making, heat again on every layer and a final layer of oil paint, that highlights the crevices. The flowers have been carved out and re painted with dark purple wax and red wax. The leaf designs have also been carved out and filled with oil paint. The bottom of the vase is complimented with layers of coloured wax for the forest floor. A lovely process that I hope you appreciate.
The measurements are 2 and 1/4 inch square, 3 inches tall to include the neck and the opening to add flowers is 3/4 inches wide.
