'Lil' Dumplin - Bud Vase
This beautiful scene on a glass bottle depicts my beautiful surroundings.
Note: This Bud Vase is also currently available in another shop, so could get sold.
The colours and textures of florals poking out from my garden or forest floor. All details are hand crafted using coloured wax, oil paints and mark making techniques. I added more coloured wax to paint the little flowers.
The bottle is neatly finished off with a lovely 'Just for You' charm around the bottle neck, however it can be removed if you wish.
It's unique, and a one of a kind that cannot be repeated. It will compliment any coffee table, window sill or shelf.
Wax is also associated as a 16th Wedding Anniversary gift, so ideal for a loving couple.
About the process:
There are many layers of clear and coloured wax, paint, heat and more layers of wax, burnishing, lifting out, mark making, more heat and oil paints. Oils are used into the crevices of all those delicious marks. A lovely and lengthy process that I hope you appreciate. Each little treasured bud vase has its own personality.
The last photo shows the vase accompanied with full care instructions and a gift bag.
The diameter of the base is 2 1/4 inches with the flower neck opening being 3/4 of an inch. The vase is 2.5 inches tall.
